Curve by Sunsets, originally Sunsets Woman, was relaunched for the 2015 collection. Sunsets Woman, a plus size sister line of Sunsets Separates, was a small brand containing only a select few styles. In 2014, it was rebranded into Curve by Sunsets, adding more styles and silhouettes. The logo and hang tag create a modernized vibe, interacting and inviting the target audience to “love their curves.”
The inspiration in designing the logo stemmed from a clean and simple approach. When researching various plus size brands, most contained script typefaces or female silhouettes. To stray from the average, I designed this logo to stand out on its own in the plus size market.
